I do not recommend this property! The owner is a pack rat and all closets are completely stuffed with junk, no room for guests to hang their clothes. The refrigerator had rotting food from previous guests and the freezer was jam packed with old and I mean by years old, food. The property is pet friendly which is great except the rugs were caked with dog hair and in the cottage there were noticeable pet stains and a terrible pet odor. Absolutely nothing enchanting about this property. There are many better choices in Crestone!
Complete lack of service, unmade beds, dirty bathrooms and the odor of a dead rodent somewhere in the kitchen, welcomed us to Anne Kelly's Enchanted Forest. The worst part is that she promised us a full refund, when we refused to stay there. We have not received our refund to date, 60 days out from our original booking date. Whatever you do, do not give her a deposit to stay at Enchanted Forest.

Do not stay here, dirty, lacking accommodations, place was deserted nobody to even show us to our room (so much for a Bed and Breakfast). After telling the owner we were not staying she refused to refund our money to us which is just as disgusting as her rooms. I do not recommend this place to anyone going through Crestone, Colroado. It is no where near magical or spiritual or for that matter relaxing. :(
Enchanted Forest has been the most delightful place to stay. The grounds are magical and the accommodations are aesthetically pleasing, neat and clean. I have so enjoyed Anne's hospitality and the wonderfully conscious people I have met here. I would come here again in a heartbeat and would strongly recommend it to anyone wanting a quiet, magical and spiritual environment to find one's Self again!
Enchanted Forest is a great place to stay in the Crestone area. However, we were surprised that the owner never came to meet us in person. The building is very quiet and the walls are somewhat thin so be prepared to either embark on a silence retreat or be a bother to other guests.
